Electric Appliances

  1. Use the main switch (ON/OFF) to turn off the electric appliances and not the remote control (Stand-by mode), as in the second case the current consumption runs on. Use multi-sockets with switches so as to altogether turn off the appliances you are not using.

  2. Do not use screensavers on computers. It is preferable to set your computer in sleep mode or shut it down.

  3. Once your mobile is charged, remove the charger from the socket.

  4. Regarding your portable devices, prefer rechargeable batteries.

  5. Select lower TV brightness for energy saving.

  6. If an appliance breaks down, first check whether it is repairable, so that it does not end up at the recycling bin for no reason. If the appliance really needs to be replaced, prefer a high energy efficient one.
